Hawaiian Chicken
Grandma's Casseroles & Entrees - Hawaiian Chicken
This is a great chicken recipe that is perfect for the grill. Sweet, tangy, salty and a bit sour, this is a delicious dish for the whole family. Spice it up with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes! Step 1: In a large sautee pan over medium-high heat, add oil. Step 2: Sautee green pepper and green onions in hot oil until just starting to soften but still firm. Add in garlic and cook another minute. Step 3: Add cubed chicken and cook through. For grilling, see notes below. Step 4: Mix in cream of chicken soup, soy sauce, and juice from canned pineapple and bring to heat. Step 5: Once heated, mix in the pineapple tidbits and serve over rice. Sprinkle with toasted slivered almonds TO GRILL: * We took the liberty of adding green onions and we think they really help to elevate the recipe.Hawaiian Chicken
